The platform supports registration for two types of users, each with distinct access levels and capabilities:
SME Users (Business Users)
SME users represent Small and Medium Enterprises registering as businesses. These users are onboarded with business-specific details and are granted access to features and APIs designed for business operations, such as higher transaction limits, business compliance requirements, and enterprise-level functionalities.
Retail Users (Individual Users)
Retail users are individual customers registering for personal use. These users are onboarded with individual identity details and are provided access to features suitable for personal transactions, subject to individual-level limits and compliance rules.
During registration, the user type must be specified. Based on the selected user type, the system applies:
- Appropriate KYC / compliance requirements
- Role-based access controls
- Relevant API permissions and limits
This ensures that each user is granted access only to the functionalities applicable to their registration category.
